What do you really enjoy every day? Bringing Zahna (my daughter with special needs) to the bus, having dinner with my family, having a snack and reading the sports pages with no distractions.

What do you get teased about the most? Being absent minded and lack of hair on my head!

Worst job you had? Picking up people’s garbage that the bear got into at the resort I grew up on.

Best job you ever had? Taking tubers down the river.

Philosophy of preaching? Try to make it interesting. It’s all about application.

Favorite stuff? Pasta, Sunday mornings, football season, board games with my family, lunch with my friends, playing baseball and listening to KTIS.

Why people should check out Cornerstone? An informal place that is easy to make great relationships, lots of young couples. Not too big or too small.

I’m bad at… Anything mechanical or technical.

Why switch from being a college business professor to being a pastor? I love helping people become more God-centered instead of self centered.

Unusual talent? When I sneeze, I sneeze five or six times!

Talents you would love to have? quickness in basketball and wit.

Most important thing you learned from God over the years? Continue to seek him.

Toughest time in life? My parents dying , my daughter’s health problems and the months where God seemed so distant.

Most exciting time in your life? Teaching college at age 26, getting married, being a missionary, starting ministries for Campus Crusade for Christ and starting Cornerstone.

Your issues? Vain about my age, being a people pleaser.

Prefer chocolate for potato chips? Potato chips

Morning or evening person? Afternoon

Museum or Valley Fair? Museum
