Station 1 - Communion

One need not be a member of Cornerstone Church of Blaine in order to partake of communion with us.  The requirement is to be a follower of Jesus Christ, that is to have acknowledged one's sinfulness and need for a Savior and have submitted to Jesus Christ as Lord. The communion table is open to all who follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Step One: Read the following passage.

"The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, 'This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.' In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood, do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.' For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. Therefore, whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup." 1 Corinthians 11:24-28

Step Two: Think of your sins and confess them to the Lord.

Step Three: Thank Christ for dying for your sins.

Step Four: Rejoice in the Lord and thank Him for everything!

Step Five: Partake of Communion
